Mahirap talaga sa akin ang malubay sa Mall.. Paano ba naman pag-uwi ko ay aking way ay sa Shangrila, connecting to MRT station..

So kundi window shoppping ang ginagawa ko, food trip..

Today, sobrang gustong-gusto ko ng fries.. Top of mind, mcdo french fries.. Pero nasa 5th floor na ako eh, hhhmmm...., Wham na!!!.. hehehe...

What's the good thing about Wham fries? Cheaper price for the biggie size of fries, so sarap, crunchy, and upon order dun lang nila niluluto yung fries....

So ito ang aking #, but it's ok to wait. bagong luto naman fries ko...hehehehe...

I really don't know the name of this Troll.. And I'm not sure kung meron bang names ang mga Trolls eh.. I got this one from Carlo - Rogelio Morales.. His last day sa office, i asked him if i can have his troll as a remembrance... I know, that is one of his collections.. So i doubt na ibibigay nya sa akin yun...

But, im so touched when he hand it over... But he told me that I should promise that i will keep him and must take good care of him..

Of course Carlo! so Pag-uwi mo sa October, Troll is still here with me...

Kung mapapadaan kayo sa SM Hypermarket dun sa food kioks,at may mapapansin kayong mahabang pila, for sure (100%) Paotsin yun..

I just discovered Paotsin few months ago. Because I got curious, bakit kaya madaming bumibili dun.. So hubby & I tried it. And it was good!! The dumplings, sauce, rice (and you choose any variant of rice; whether seafood rice, fried rice or hainanese rice), and chili. And definitely it is one of our cheap thrills when we're feeling frugal.

Pero lagi kong nalilimutang pikturan yun.. hehehe.. at last, today naalala ko syang pikturan muna..

Sa mga hindi pa natytry ang Paotsin, go now.. Sulit ang presyo.. It's only 45 pesos, 4dumplings + rice...

Break, break... Away from work.. Time-out... yan ang mga katagang laging sinasabi pag stress na sa work..

Sino nga ba nagyaya? hehehe... This is not usual sa aming mga goodthinkers... Siguro kung lalabas kami more on dining lang... So ito ang aming first time inuman chorva (ahem, except dun sa wasakan sa boracay ha)...

This is at Krocodille Grill at Shangrila.. Wow! S.O.F - Sobrang Okey ang Food.... fave namin yung seafood halo-halo at grilled tahong... hhhmm yung ano pala gulay na ay este gising-gising pala yun.. hahhaha.. Pero over all ok sa alright...

After dinner, alcohol drinking na... hahaha.. bitin konti, pero solve na.. Medyo gabi na din eh.... Pero we all agreed na dapat maging monthly session na ito (at least 1x a month naman)... Unlike ng ibang companies eh, almost everyweek may inuman session sila... Promise na promise, drinking session for goodthinkers, Aja Aja!

At dahil ayoko ng maranasan ang aming experience last Transformers, nagregister na ako sa Sureseats ng Ayala Cinemas..

What's the nice thing here at Sureseats, beside from the name sure seats - of course sure na sure na may seats kayo, and you can choose the best seat, most comfortable seat, and the time also... Hassle-free, kasi di ka na pipila just to buy tickets... Magiging happy ka kasi you get the seats that you want, not yung kung ano lang ang available sa cinema...

It's our 3rd day... konti na lang at matatapos na namin ni Raine itong Training na ito.. Itinerary for the day are Marikina, Makati..

Wow! ang laki ng house na ito sa may Provident Village sa Marikina... Para syang ancestral house pero highly maintained....

Pero, pagdating namin sa Salcedo Makati, wala ang respondent.. Nalito daw sya kung 10am or 1pm ang aming appointment... So akala nya 10am, kaya nagset sya ng new appointment for 1pm..

Medyo naligaw kami sa Mandaluyong... Kasi naman yung description ng respo eh near daw sa waiting shed.. eh musta naman napakarami pa lang waiting shed near dun sa area... Buti na lang at malakas ang loob kong magtanong-tanong....hahaha

Luckily, di na kami tutuloy sa Tondo.. whheeewww TONDO....!!!Hay naku ewan ko ba itong si Raine at gusto pinipicturan ang aking likod ko.... FTL! ang lapad ko na talaga!!!

It's the friday!!! And starting this july every week we have a weekly activity (this is every friday only), and at the end of the month it's our monthly get together Company Activity...

Isa ako sa committee nitong activity na ito... Every week may iba't-ibang activity, merong Themed Casual Day, at Bring Me.. then at the end of the month - our Grand Costume Day.. Since ang Theme of the month ay hindi nirereveal, we have to wear something that we think na yun ang theme based on the clues of the activity given every week...

So today, it's casual day and wear Blue Shirt Day~~~

See, everything is blue... my shirt, my bangle, my earing, the pendant of my necklace, the color of my eyeshadow....

Pero ayaw namin masyado gumastos for this day, buti na lang at meron pa akong voucher ng BDJ planner at di ko pa nagamit ang aking buy 1 take 1 na breakfast sa Coffee Bean....

Buti na lang kahit di na breakfast, they still serve breakfast menu.....

I saw a nice shoes from Charles & Keith - MOA, but of course, I tried not to be an impulsive buyer for the nth time.. hahaha... So sabi nila, palipasin ko ng overnight pag di ako nakatulog at masyado kong iniisip at naapektuhan na ako eh balikan ko na lang ulit and then buy it... I thought I can overcome that temptation, but after 3 days, di talaga ako pinapatulog eh... minumulto ako ng shoes na yun parang may nagbubulong na bilin mo na ako... hahahaha..

Buti na lang may shop din ng C & K sa Megamall, near sa office.. Sa madaling sabi, pumunta ako dun, pero wala ng size 8 for any color, buti medyo kasya sa akin ang 7 kaya pwede na kahit sakto lang at pwede na rin ang white.. Matahimik na lang ako!!!! hahaha.. Tapos, may umepal pa na wallet na sobrang para sa akin talaga.. madaming lagayan ng bills, cards at may coins din.. oh di ba, all that I'm looking for a wallet.. hahahaha... So syempre binili ko din ang wallet....

I know, sasabihan nyo ako!!! But please try to understand me... That's my weakness...

Napakaswerte talaga ng asawa not only because he have me in his life.. hahaha.. What I mean to say he's so lucky sa mga raffle...We will watch Transformers @ Greenbelt 3, so dahil nga blockbuster itong movie, musta naman ang pila at sold out na tikets for today.. We were shocked when the movie attendant offers a 12:20am movie schedule.. What??? are you kiddin' us? hahaha.. They extended the regular movie screening so they can accommodate the movie viewers who are all excited to see the movie.. syempre addict fanatic kami, we grab the 12:20am... What's also nice sa Ayala Cinemas, pag ganitong mga blockbuster movie laging may freebies, in every 4 movie ticket you got a chance to win a freebies thru raffle.. So 8 kami, we have 2 raffle... Una akong bumunot, i got a timezone play card with free 2 hours game, then si hubby na... haaay, syempre sya na naman ang bida, he got an original DVD copy of Transformer 1... He's a lucky guy di ba...

At kakaiba din dahil ang aming main event ay ang Volleyball Game.. Ito kaya ang sports na wala akong kaalam-alam kaya nga di ko ito kinuhang PE during college eh...Pero nakakagulat, aba aba, marunong pala ako... hahaha.. siguro dahil sa malalaki kong braso kaya malakas na akong tumira ng bola... Nag-order ako ng Nikkor 55-200mm sa Myers Hidalgo, and have them deliver sa office... Napili ko itong lens na ito, because it's a telephoto na kahit papaano... and the nicest is it's VR (vibra reduction) wala ng camera shake...

But he was like a kid who is afraid to the doctor.. so i accompany him to the hospital.. we went to Makati MEd, pero sa labas palang ng ER mukhang toxic na sa loob.. madami ng pasyente... Nagpunta na lang kami sa Intellicare Clinic.. nyay! grabe din pala dito... Parang lahat ng tao eh may trangkaso & signs o H1N1 - the famous..

The receptionist handed us a mask, just to protect ourselves, just in case there is a patient who is positive for H1N1.

It's been 2 weeks since I lost my eyeglass, and it causes me so much migraine... So panay mainit ang gulo ko every night and hubby can't take it anymore... We had a discussion over it, he wants me to buy another eyeglass, but I like to buy a pair of contact lens... Of course, ako pa din ang panalo.. hehehe... I don't want eyeglass anymore.. I'm afraid i might lost or broke it for nth time...

I got a Doll Eyes Contact Lens, but since i got a brown eyes (gifted toits eh), hindi masyadong halata na i'm wearing a contact, medyo lumaki lang ang aking eye balls.... Good thing, ayaw ko din na manotice that i'm waring contacts....

My nephew's 1st bday... lucky because it's a holiday, Happy Independence Day!

My cousin, asked me to take picturesof his son's first birthday... Ito na rin ang aking pilot birthday coverage... Mahirap din pala at kailangan mo ng maraming gamit, you'll need flash, lights (because of low lights inside the venue)... At di biro din ang post processing, you have to think a very creative ways how to process all the pictures.. at dapat medyo kakaiba ang designs...

I had a 2-1/2 hours ride going to Tanay Rizal... I need to visit our teen respondents to check their activity, if they doing it right, and give another topic for their activity.

What really amazed me, is the design of their tricycle... Kakaiba.. pag nakasakay ka, kita-kitang ka ng mga nadadaanan mo... paano ba naman bukas ang harapan... and i was wondering pano kaya pag umuulan... hahaha

Just after the storm again, i need to reflect and need to be alone and must drink Mojito that night...

So kahit na todo ang ulang ng gabing iyon, i decided to find a place and have my mojito.. Dyaran! alas, i found a cozy but a little affordable place in Shang - it's at Agave...

I had two glass of mojito that night.. gusto ko pa sana ng 1 pa, pero magmmrt lang pala ako.. baka di ako pasakayain ng guard at baka di na ako makalad ng maayos... Wala pa naman ako sa condition, so malamang na madali akong tamaan... But I'm so happy at napabigyan ko ang sarili ko to drink one of my fave drinks - MOJITO!!!

Han is very excited what to buy.. But of course he wants a new LCD TV the 32" ha... Almost 2 hours yata kami dun sa loob ng appliance center, tagal talaga mamili.. In the end he chose the LG promo, but i can't remember kung anong Option yun.. Pero ang pinili namin ay LG 32" worth 29,995.00 plus any choice of appliance worht 4,000... Ang kinuha ko ay turbo broiler and a dryer...

And our first movie in our new Tv is Matrix...

I approached my cousins GF during our trip to tagaytay.. She's a derma in JR... I asked her what to do in my face, pimples & pimple marks??

So binigyan nya ako ng maintenace set for my face. Medyo may pagkamahal nga lang, pero I think hiyang sa akin. Kailangan ko nga lang maging routine ito everyday at maging strict ako...

It's our last date for being a BF-GF mode.. because our kids will be coming home in a few days... So nanood kami ng angels & demons the movie sa greenbelt...

At start, di na kami ok kasi galit ako sa kanya... Inis na talaga ako, because he was so persistent to find someone (a girl) in facebook and she was his crush way back long long time ago.. He was like a really excited kid telling me that he cannot find her... And I was, oh my, why you're like that.. So I'm really really mad ang upset... Hindi ko talaga sya kinakausap as in wasak na wasak yung gabi namin...

So pati photo ko for the day eh di naging ok....

Super excited na akong makita ang pinakapaborito kong ninang... umuwi sya dito sa pinas galing UAE para magpacheck-up at para matuli na rin ang pinsan ko.. hehehehe..

Well, i really need to say na sya ang pinakapaborito ko (im not being biased) kasi unang-una sa kanya ko nakuha karamihan ng pagiging ako; kikay, shopaholic, funny, she can say whatever she wants to say to a person, she can do whatever she wants to do in her life, at most specially most of the time sya ang critic at adviser ko... And i love her so much....

Here's her pasalubong to me: charles & keith sun glass, guess bag, giordano top, set of anklet and toe rings, 3 sets of big round earings, and gold bracelet accessories.

A much awaiting and super exciting summer getaway with my talavera cousins. We drove to tagaytay friday night, geez the traffic jam is so annoying... Nakarating kami sa tagaytay almost 2Am...

Nagising kami sa ingay ni Tita Edith, she's our alarm clock and our guardin for the rest of the trip.. We have to get ready at 7am, papuntang Canyon Cove Nasugbu Batangas. Kasi para makakuha kami ng magandang cottage at pwesto. Just an hour we reached the resort, less the hazzle kasi medyo naligaw pa kami.. hahaha... Mehn, the place is so nice... there's pool & Beach!... The negative side lang eh medyo mahal ang food, example softdrink in can is worth 60 pesos, see it's triple the price!

Umuwi kami ng tagaytay around 3pm, hahaha.. syempre maglulunch pa lang kami...

Ang pinakahighlights ng trip na ito ay ang aming inuman session nung gabi... Lahat kailangan umiinow... walang minor minor.. kailangan uminom ka ng Jack Daniels at iba pang mixed drinks...

Masisisi nyo ba kami, kami yata ang First Generation ng Talavera cousins.. Kulang nga lang dahil wala si Ate Marlene..

I know it's not fashionable... it's more of being cool and hip... Kasi naman i will be with my cousins trip to tagaytay that day so dapat medyo comfortable na suot ko at yung nakakarelate sa kanila.. (it means that im much older).. hahaha

This is my 2nd time na sumama sa gimik inuman with my hubby & his DELL friends...

Syempre, laglagan na naman... I know hindi comfortable si hubby na nandun ako, first sa Hooters yun, di sya makakapagpapicture with hooters girls, 2nd sya ang star of the night kasi sobrang laglag na sya ng mga kaibigan nya, 3rd hindi sya makaporma.. hahaha... Pero happy ako kasi masaya silang kasama, bawal nga lang ang pikon..

My first time naman na maka one-on-one si Pola, my hubby's officewife ....And our first Photo na magkasama.. She's John's bestfriend and girlbestfriend sa office.. So I know na hindi pwedeng mambabae si John.. hahaha...I'm proud of my husband, kasi he knows how to take good care of his friends...

Medyo tinamaan nga lang ako ng konti, so after hooters, I bought a Cafe Latte at Starbucks.. And the result, I'm still awake till 3am!!!

I went to my daughters school (Malate Catholic School) and have them enrolled... As I said to my previous blog, my hardly earned money will go to my daughter's tuition fees...Thankful that I bought that bond ring, ahaha..

While looking into the official receipt of MCS, i got teary eyed. I felt something wonderful in my heart, a fulfilling mother.. Now I know the answer why I have to wake up every morning and make some hard works....

For a change, we decided to do the grocery at LandMark Makati. Han's officemate told that it's a bit cheaper there. I don't think so. Maybe I'm comfortable, or I'm much familiar with SM. I bought the dried basil leaves, han bought the selecta new edition ice cream at LandMark, and that's it.. hehehe, & we ended to SM Makati for the rest...

I was so happy because I found the dried basil leaves at LandMark, then the Mirin at SM Makati (Supermarket).. I'm a fan of basil leaves ok, even in fried rice, pasta, etc. And the Mirin, wow, I'm going to cook Katsudon, my ever fave food...

I used to be out of the house everyday Saturday; I'm in the mall, or having a photo shoot, or in my photo class, or do the grocery & window shop... Definitely, I'm out of the house!!! But school days is coming & our kids will be home soon.. So we decided to clean up their room and the house (my hubby & me) since we don't have any helper yet... Unfortunately, hubby got sick so I have to clean the house all by myself. While cleaning, i do the laundry, I'm online; (multi-tasking huh)...

It's a 4 days late from last years (big) gift giving from the Management.. Our big boss just gave me a hint of it first thing in the morning.. So i've been a spoiler for the nth time, i posted a status saying "may naamoy ako, kayo meron?" And boom meron nga!!!

Sorry for me (and for the things i wanted to buy), bcoz this gift is for my two lovely daughters tuition fees & school needs...

Pero, subalit, ngunit, datapwa, hindi pwedeng mapabigyan ko ang aking sarili.. Matagal ko ng gustong bumili ng bond ring, at meron akong nakita sa Kashieca pero medyo may pagkamahal sya, so pinag-isipan ko muna ng mabuti (mga 1 oras lang naman).. At sinabi ko kay hubby na i wanted to buy that ring with necklace but the price is a little fancy and he told me "do you really need that?'.. So I decided not to buy... I bought a cheap bond ring from Genevive Gozum instead.. But I was so sad, and hubby can't take it, so he told me "c'mon lets buy it.."

Hooray! Alas here's the fruit(s) of my hardship....(bond rings plus the necklace)

Project 365: How to Take a Photo a Day and See Your Life in a Whole New Way

People will often say that their whole lives flashed before their eyes after they experienced a traumatic event. Perhaps it’s a bit morbid, but we think that sounds pretty incredible.

When Taylor McKnight started taking a photo a day on January 1st, 2004, he never imagined the project would not only serve as a way to remember a year, but also help him understand what was important to him in his life.

Whether it was his relationships, his career, or his fashion sense, recording a photo a day for a whole year left him with a rich visual history of his life. And it made him a better photographer to boot!

Now that he’s in the middle of doing it for a second time, we asked Taylor to write about it for us. Read on for our tutorial on how and why to create your own daily photographic history.

Why do it?

Taking a photo a day is a big undertaking with big payoffs. Here are just a few reasons why you should consider doing it:

Imagine being able to look back at any day of your year and recall what you did, who you met, what you learned… (Often we find it hard to remember what we did just yesterday or even last night, let alone a whole year ago!)
Your year-long photo album will be an amazing way to document your travels and accomplishments, your haircuts and relationships. Time moves surprisingly fast.
Taking a photo a day will make you a better photographer. Using your camera every day will help you learn its limits. You will get better at composing your shots, you’ll start to care about lighting, and you’ll become more creative with your photography when you’re forced to come up with something new every single day.

Tips on How to Do It

Here are six tips on how to create your own Project 365:

Bring Your Camera Everywhere
Yes, everywhere. Get in the habit. Grocery stores, restaurants, parties, work, and school. Going to a movie theatre? Snap a pic of the flick with your phone–there are photo-ops everywhere. If you have one of those tiny tiny cameras, you have no excuse not to have it in your pocket all the time. And if you don’t? Camera phones are a great substitute.
Make Posting Easy
You can install blog software like Movable Type or Wordpress on your own site and create an entry for each photo, but for true ease of use, try a photo sharing site. Flickr will let you post a week’s worth of photos in 2 minutes flat, and fotolog and Photoblog.com are geared toward a photo-a-day workflow. Making it fast and easy means you’re much more likely to do it.
Vary Your Themes
Try to capture the day’s events in a single photo. Perform photographic experiments. Take a photo of someone new you meet, something you ate for the first time, or something you just learned how to do. Take a photo of something that made you smile. And don’t forget to take a photo of yourself at least once a month so you can remember how you’ve changed, too.
Tell a Story
Use your blog entry, or your photo description, to explain what’s going on in each day’s photograph. How good did that dinner taste? What made you want to take a photo of that stranger? It’ll help you remember down the road, and it gives friends following along a better appreciation of why you took the photo you did. You don’t need to write a lot, just enough to add some color.
Don’t Stop, No Matter What
This is perhaps the most important tip of all. You will get tired of taking a photo every single day. Some days, you will consider giving up. Don’t. The end result is worth the effort. Remind yourself why you wanted to do it in first place.
There will be times you’ll think there’s nothing interesting left to take a photo of, and times you’ll think you didn’t do anything exciting enough to take a photo of. There’s always a great photo to be made.

Get out of the house and take a walk. Or stay inside and look around. Take a photo of something important to you. Take a photo of the inside of your house so you can see how your taste has changed over the years. Take a photo of anything, just don’t stop.

N.b. It helps if you’ve told your friends about the project and asked them to follow along. Their encouragement will keep you going!
Post early, post often
Plan on going through and posting your photos at least once a week so you don’t get backlogged and feel overwhelmed. Ideally, post every day or two. Again, spend the time up front to make sure it’s quick and easy to post. It’ll make all the difference.
